I want a spare one or just the part the shifter shaft/rod is attached to so I can cut it shorter, lil trick

It is the same as the 4th right? I just thought it might be different because there are more controls for the 4L60E than just the 4L60 right?

Because I'm going to cut one down shorter so that my leather shift boot out of an auto grand am fits nicely, and don't wanna ruin the stock one. I put the boot in the other day and doesn't reach the bottom of the know. It looks nice tho if only I cut it like half inch. I got a t-handle shifter too! Looks ILL but no pics for you guys till I'm done. Pizza hooked me up with an ashtray lid and I'm still working on the gauge pod that I made to fill in between the dash and the LS1 console. There's gonna be a fan switch on it too
