Default Oil pan and cover alignment

So I bought a rebuilt truck engine to put in my car and I took the oil pan off to switch to the car pan. Well I noticed the rear cover is not perfectly flush with the block. Its not off by much, just a cunt hair buts its enough to be noticable.

How important is it to sit perfectly flush with the block? Is it worth it to loosen the bolts and line it up better or will the RTV take care of it?

I would line it up better, if its not sealed right you'll be kicking yourself later when its pissing oil or something.
