Yeah car coming along great. my only question is why turbo and Cast Iron heads. if you ran aluminum youd be able to run a ton more pressure.

they are dart iron eagle platinum 200 heads...got a good deal on them...practically brand new when i bought them before the engine let go....600.00 for the pair.....new thay are like 1400 for the pair....as to why i went turbo was the efficiency was alot better than the roots blower setup i used to run.......i run 14 lbs at the moment with no issues so far. im also at 8.5:1 for a compression ratio

no issues? didnt you just blow a piston or was that fueling related? 14 psi on 8.5:1 compression will put you in the 12-13:1 dynamic compression range. im not trying to be know it all. just trying to figure out how that things for more then 5 minutes at WOT.

no i do not run a meth injection setup...i dont have the need for it at the moment.....max boost once the engine is broken in will be 18 psi.....for now i will run 14 lbs with a good tune.....i also run a blow thru CSU 750 carburetor specifically setup for my engine combo....i also do not run a larger camwith high lift either...i dont plan on revving past 6500 as well....the cam that was suggested was a nitrous cam....hydraulic roller.....seems to run well with it
