If you wanna do a came do a cam a lt4 is such a small cam it isn't worth the work. Imho

Reguardless, I'm pretty sure a stall is gonna kill my tranny, and I don't have the coin to do stall and build the transmission. lol

I figured the hot cam would be a good really cheap way to make some extra power, till i can save up and get proper heads and cams.

Along with the saving money theme, I also wont have to get new pushrods, guide plates, can still run SA RR safely and I also don't have to worry about my bottom end or spinning it high like I will need to with a bigger cam.

all i know is my friends c4 vette runs great, its a small cam. his car even has stock manifolds and cats, it put down 300rwhp. it doesnt surge or do anything funny. just a little bit of an idle to it. its a monster on the highway

You want a small cam that ran great. Cc304 that I had in my lt1. Runs off stock tune and valve train.

can be run with low mileage stock springs and 1.5 rr's or get a set of 918's and run it with 1.6's either way Slight idle and runs on stock tune. i still say get a Stall.
