Not the mount breaking but cracked trans tail shafts maybe its diff for auto trannies vs t56?

Granted mine is a G body but I have been using rubber engine mounts and a poly trans mount for many years now without any problems.

I got just under 10,000 miles out of my last one, with DRs on the car pretty much all of that time. That's good enough for me. A broken trans mount won't strand you, ya just can't get on it. Wonder why Kev's car eats them?

You just pointed it out DR's mines mostly from getting oil on it from leaky intake manifold and tire hop.
