Im definitely opening it up, and refreshing it for sure. Ill probably pull the heads this weekend if I have time.

Well ladies and gentlemen, I pulled the heads off today, and I was very disapointed to see dished pistons which means this is an lq4 not lq9, nbd i guess, Ill just have to get some aftermarket flat tops.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SLP-H1129CT/ and if you have to have it bored over. Dont know if its possible on stock sleeves? then they sell 4.020 and 4.030 bore pistons for cheaper.

thing will still make some really good power and be more reliable than the lt1. Keith you have my number let me know if you need anything!
