So after some reviews and bull shit associated with "BullDozer"/ New AMD FX CPU's. i sed fuck that!!!
went to microcenter today. bought a M5A99X EVO Asus mob. Phenom II X4 840. 2x2gb 4Gigabyte kit of ddr3-1333 and a diablotech(sp?) 600watt power supply. running a pair of FREE GeForce 9800GT video cards in SLI. and at first i was pissed my XP wouldnt start. got the BSOD. but realized XP wont use/run on a quad core and up. So i had to bite the bullet and install Vista 32-Bit wich i got from a friends Dead Emachine Free. and after some Serious bullshit with drivers and getting everything installed. its seems to have stabilized and runs pretty fucking good. we will see how the SLI works tomorrow wen i install Skyrim again!!!!

Seems like a soild setup, I would look into a 64 bit OS tho so you can use the quad core and other things correctly.

yeah i did. my wifes mother had a 64 bit Vista i Just reinstalled and am running with my FULL 4gb's of ram and Quad core is kicking EVERYTHINGS ass!!!!

pics soon! i only got cheap microcenter brand non OC'd ram cuz i was stuck with windowsxp/vista 32bit till today. simple phone call to microsoft and the cd key for 32 and 64 bit are the same for the SAME version. Home Premium 32bit for Home Premium 64bit so i boroughed a vista 64 disc my cd key and i was done in about an hour.

Newegg is the tits. Only time i got better deals when circut city was going under. I build my first $1200 rig for like 700 bucks lol. $400 mobo for 180 i think it was.
