Are the 93-97 T5 V6 Clutch hydraulics the same set-up that's installed on the 93-97 LT1 cars ??

93-95 3.4L master cylinder is the same as 93-97 LT1 the slave and hydraulic line are NOT! 95-97 3.8L hydraulics have nothing in common. if your asking because you have a parts car or doing a swap. i recomend buying a complete NEW clutch master and slave pre bled from GM. theres no bleeder on the LT1 slave and once you start swapping parts around you will never have the same pedal feel again.

The Slave in my 95Z blew out last fall and I replaced it with a used one rather than buying a complete set-up. I actually replaced the Slave and braded line on my original set-up and re-bled then installed. ( Very easy process & it works great again ! )
I found a T5 94 parts car and started wondering about compatablity when I spotted the braided clutch line from the master to the slave. I wasn't about to start ripping that sucker out unless it was useable on the V8's ! Thanx for the info ! ![]() |
