Fast 78mm intake?
Fast 78mm intake? Any good? Never even knew they made one that small. Have someone trying to trade me one for some parts I have for sale but is it any better than a stock one for a boosted application?

from what i hear most go with a single plane carb style or metal intake. the stock intake should handle 6-10 pounds no issue

It's marginally better than an LS6, quite a bit better thatn an LS1. I had one before I got my 90MM. It made a lot of torque and maybe 9-10 peak over the LS6 intake. With FI I don't see you gaining too much over a stocker but you can install the burst panels in it which can't be done an an LS1/LS6. For bigger power go with the single plane Carb intake

if you are going with FI I would go with the ls6 or the edelbrock carb style. no need to spend anymore money.

Eh, wasn't going to spend any money on it. Have a guy who wants to trade me one for some corvette parts I have for sale.
But if it's not really that big of a difference I'd rather have the cash. Didn't think it would be but thought I'd ask.
