been a long time since i updated this thread. life got in the way.

where i left off was here:

what we had was a 1st gen front subframe, with a tube chassis on back. body sits over the top. quickchange rear end with coil overs out back.

emphasis on Had.

the car was sitting untouched for more than 5 years. i decided with a few more years of experience under my belt that I could do a better job building the car i really wanted, and make it something that would handle better. the chassis i first built was "ok" and would work. but it wasn't that nice, and was obviously put together as a compromise and without a plan from the beginning. time for a new plan.

i started working on it in november. bought a clapped out 84 corvette for parts and started in a new direction. this is what we have now.
a full tube chassis with corvette front and rear IRS suspension. setting up for coil overs on all 4 corners.

i'm almost done with the coil over mounts, then i can get to setting an engine in it.
