Yeah i guess youre right. The heads must not be able to flow well enough. Id go with 5.3s but dont wanna bump up compression because i eventually wanna boost it. We have a bone stock besides rear...

I hear ya. I just thought those heads would be good for a bit more power. Maybe ill save up for a good set of heads and redo them.
Btw the injectors were at 100% duty cycle

Thanks man. I know where hes coming from though, i just know my car lol i just finished building the damn thing and it goes like hell. I just dont see how after 2500 miles changing to the ls6 lost...

I know i feel bad lol but i just did the engine work 3000 miles ago and it dynod at 388 whp and 373 ft lbs then with the ls1 manifold. Blah :(

I know it will correct better for different temperature and altitude conditions but it won't give me any more power... I feel like I'm the only person in the world that has put the LS6 manifold on...

No way the correction factor has to be right i was making 334 before i did the engine work then after made 388 now i made 385 and theres no way thats all my car should be making with my mods

Lost power with LS6 intake?

Got retuned yesterday with LS6 intake and lost 3 hp and 3 ft lbs how is this possible? Afr and timing are mint and no vacuum leaks. No way i should make more power with the stock intake manifold

baha too late! :p It's a shame they would've been better than the ported 241's... but I'm happy. and once I get the ls6 intake on there and get it back on the dyno it should make over 400 for both hp...
