Spikes Ride For Sandy Hook Charity Car Cruise May 3rd!!!

George "Spike" is at it again and planning to top last years showing of over 2500 Participants & 4000 Spectators! For those that didnt attend last year this is an AWESOME cruise for a great cause! Groups from all over New England convoyed to Lime Rock Race Park to show their cars, watch live road racing & drifting All while raising over $26,000 for the victims families & survivors of this horrific tragedy. I am the crew leader for the New Hampshire group that will meet at a to be determined location in southern NH and convoy down 495 south where we will meet up with George's group on the mass pike. From there we will all cruise together to Lime Rock Race Park. Anyone from or close to New Hampshire is invited and encouraged to meet with us. I am working on nailing down a location for everyone to meet at that will be convenient and close to rt93. Well if someone is going to make a statement like that George should atleast be given the opportunity to stand up for himself, can you blame him for being mad? Saying he's ripping everyone off for 10s of thousands of dollars is a pretty substantial accusation wouldnt you say? Especially without any kind of factual evidence. I dont think you would appreciate someone spreading rumors around like that about you, I certainly wouldn't. I'd hope you arent mad at me for something you said.

....to be honest Ron, I'm glad you posted up because I'm pretty much the same as you. I get paranoid with charity. When you hear about some folks at the top taking 95% and then 5% going to the people (or animals, or rainforest, or wherever you intended the money to go), you get paranoid.

But with Spike, I'm totally glad that he jumped in, showed how he is running things and he showed what he is dedicating to this.

We need to fact check that. If that's true pretty easy decision but I have a hard time believing that. I really wanted to go last year and said I would go next, but there are 13 second mustangs to kill so. War is calling my name.
