Kevin, yours didn't need a salvage title/reinspection cause it was over 10 years old. Anything newer than 10 needs salvage/reinspection if it's totaled.

And yeah Navy, it's real easy to find an extra thousand to wipe a car with a hit like that. But, after buying it back plus salvage title and reinspection you'd only be screwing yourself since they already gave you 7g's. Isn't it nice knowing and being cool with your body guys so they can save you from shit like that lol?

I understand what you are saying trust me. My guy i usually use painted my 01 ws6 nose with 100k on it and it matches mint!!! but to be honest he did do a test panel and made a adjustment to the color to make it match though but it was VERY close before he made his change.

i am looking to sell this car SOON so close will work for me if the price is right

Good to hear navy.

When it comes to body work you get what you pay for. My SS was keyed and scratched up pretty good from a carport falling on it. For a sand/fill/prime/paint with the flames it came out to be almost 5 grand that the insurance gave me to fix it.

I took it over to Rt 28 Collison in West Bridgewater. They did some work for me before and while my car was there the did a 20k job on a 2008 dodge Viper. And it was unbelieveable and when I saw the Viper blue color, I knew it was it right there.

Slow. lol. Im waiting for an opening on the frme machine right now. The guy thats gonna do the work is the shit but as always when you goto the best you have to wait in line. Once she comes back from the frame machine I will start the search for the front suspension rebuild and all the body panels I need. Then finally she will goto paint.

As I said in the beggining. If you have to pull the frame the car will never be right. I've seen it numerous times.Car is pulled straight but the metal is weak in that area now. Put the car on a lift after and let it sit.The frame always starts to bend again.Only correct way is to cut the front frame off and weld on another.Alot of work but it's the only right way.

And while it may seem redundant to pull it if you're just going to cut it all off the proper way is to get it on a machine, pull it/measure it to make sure it's square again, then cut off and replace whatever was really crunchd

Which is exactly what is gonna happen. It is going on a frame machine to square it and then a new front rail will be welded on. The car will be just as strong as it was when it rolled off the showroom floor. I trust the guy that is going to do it and anyone around here that KNOWS me knows that for me to trust someone means a shitload.
