Honestly I'm really not sure whether it would need to be blended or not. I do know it will need to be stripped though, it's got spider cracks. I don't think there is anything structurally wrong with the bumper though.

you never HAVE to blend but the color will be alittle different from it being fresh paint and the rest of the car not

i do not need blending, just strip and repaint, if your guys are good they can match the paint via the VIn and paint code they can look it up and get the "alternates" and it will match

let me know how much

Exactly what happened to me. What I thought was going to be a little fix turned into "write it up for everything it could possibly need fixed." Control arms, front shocks, 4 new wheels, frame adjustment, new complete radiator support, steering rack, abs module, the list went on. Could you imagine they totaled this:

so they totaled it, I bought it back for only 700 bucks replaced just the lower portion of the radiator support, frame was flawless they spend 2 hours measuring everything and it was fine, got kyb shocks and struts the z06 wheels didnt need control arms, had the whole car repainted with the ss spoiler, so then re registered it and they said it doesn't need to have a reconstructed or totaled title. Still has a clean title. Free mods Navy free mods <3

I also got a new foamy underhood insulator hood thing to replace the messed up one as well^

I don't care how good someone is. Even the paint reps will tell you the variant deck is just a tool to get you in the ballpark. They aren't always 100%. Blending is the right way to go that being said though dark blues usually match fairly well regardless. Now if it were white, silver, pewter... Those are another story entirely
