LS7 = 500HP+ at the flywheel
Don = 500HP+ at the rear wheel

BIG difference

I have NO idea why FAST is now discontinuing the 92 intakes and only producing and selling the 102. I was always under the impression that the 102 is for the larger displacement engines such as the LS7, TBSS and maybe the LS3's. This isn't the first time I've heard a 102 swap running like crap. IMO, I'd put an 92mm TB on the 102 and see how it goes. The 102 is way too big for the smaller displacement engines. Also heard that you loose port velocity at lower RPM's do to having such a big mouth on that intake.

^ That's why I didn't mention HIS setup as I didn't know what it was.. It's odd that the 427 wouldn't perform well with the 102. Possibly too big of a mouth on the intake. I'd stick a 92mm TB on it and see how it runs.

I've always thought the Nick Williams intakes were puRe secks!!

i was thinking about that one too. but i also read up it doesnt fit the F-Buckets. too tall for even a cowl cut in the back unless you shave the whole cowl completely off.

^ I've seen a GMPP EFI intake with an elbow and stock TB on tech a couple weeks ago.. I'll see if I can find it. I'd really just love a FAST 92 and call it good, but I'm researching my options as well.
