Default Job at UPS?

Well I got asked by some guy from UPS walking around my school today if I wanted a job, and I of course said yes, just to see. I guess they're looking for someone to work Mon-Fri 6-11pm. I said yeah I might be able to shoehorn that into my tight schedule with school and everything... So he said to apply online for it. I'm gonna apply but just was wondering if anyone has any experience working with them or knows anyone who does? I don't really know what its all about haha just better pay and more hours but a 20 min drive for me..

One of my good friends worked with them as a temp a few years back during the holiday season. He hated it. He said the people were rude the job itself sucked and right after New Years they shit canned him. But it wasnt me and he's kind of a lil bitch so who knows. Worst that happens is you take it hate it and quit.

Bud of mine did it for the holidays and had the opposite experience. He loved it and plans on doing it again this year.

I did it to pay for my divorce & worked the midnight to 5 AM shift.
I was in my 30's when I worked in the Chelmsford hub & I easily kept up with the younger crowd & I was selected for the less strenuous 1200 unload packages per hour position to a paper job checking international at about 50 an hour, it was great.
It wasn't a bad experience at all.
I'm 49 now & I'd easily go back if I needed a part time job but I get very well where I am now.
I get paid so well that my ex gets almost $300 a week for child support, & that's for one kid!
2.5 more years, done!
Anyway, any job is what you make of it.
