there are 8 bolts man. 8 MAKE SURE YOU COUNT 8 empty holes!!!!!!

And if all 8 bolts are out did you pull the clutch fork out to disengage it?
Another friend of mine had the same issue trying to pull his t56 out of his 93. Him and two others fought with it for 2 hours. I stopped by, pulled the fork, and it was on the ground in 30 seconds lol.

I know there are 8 bolts, I pulled 7 and found an empty hole on the top passenger side. Seeing how I've found work done on this car, whoever did it was a huge hack so it wouldn't surprize me if he never put it back in. and yes the clutch fork is disengaged. It's pouring outside right now so I'm going to go out there and try checking again. but I can see an empty bolthole when I look at the transmission to bellhousing section when I lower that tranny and look over it from the tailhousing and jam my head up into the tunnel with a flashlight. I think they just didn't put the bolt back in when they did the clutch on this

when it stops raining I'm going to make sure I got all of them by jamming a digital camera up the to make sure I'm not just crazy...well I am crazy but thats besides the point
