Congrats but the 8.1's do suck! Not fast and uses gas like crazy.

haha yes its the 8.1 its all they offered on the 2500. wich is the one i wanted. so wen i get sick of it its time for a 6.0!

I say put the 8.1 in the firebird just for bragging rights. who cares what it makes for power, and then 6.0 in the avalanche and give me the 396 for giving you such an awesome idea.
