restored 1969 4846 came in today.



I know Alex.....I'm going to need another fire extinguisher, LOL.

I'm would guess your trying to keep as much on the car thats original as you can?

Actually, there is not much that the car was "born with", but I am trying to make everything original/stock (as much as practical). It is a clone/tribute/re-creation car but I want to make it as a 69 Douglass/Yenko would have arrived stock but still be able to drive the daylights out of it. A true Yenko belongs in a museum somewhere. This car is something that I hope to have a lot of fun with.

Glad to hear your gonna put it through its paces to when its done! I think any car is ment to be driven, no matter how rare, but I'm a driver not a collector, so what do I know haha. That cars gonna be amazing when its done for sure, Ill want to take some high rez pictures when its done for some back grounds, I do love the old school.

Sometimes I wonder about running old tech cars...but then I see all these guys with newer cars that can't make the Quabbin Cruise and have "smoke pouring out of the engine bay" and I think that some 43 year old cars run better than some of the newer ones..... HA!
