Default EFI Intake

Question? with all this converting carb in takes to use EFI on the LS1's and some LT1's. i see alot cutting and fabricating of the car cowl etc. Now why cant you use a super vic a 4bbl throttle body and a classic turbo/supercharger Hat? would it fit has anyone seen this done or tried and it didnt work?

i know on the LS cars you still need to cut the cowl to get it to fit but if you go with a low elbow like don did you can get away with it most of the time. I wish they would make the rpm air gap for the ls1 in a efi then get some one to test it against the ls6

Pretty sure the LS6 will stay lay a wuppin on it everywhere but peak HP, The LS6 is a very, very good intake until you get to big mods that it is just too small for. Plus if cost is an issue it will be no contest.

What intake do you plan to use? A super victor is 1" taller than a Victor jr. so thats one thing to remember. If you want I can tell you how tall my victor jr. is with a throttle body like that. I'll measure from the top of the china wall to the top of the carb base plate I have sitting on top.

you will have to cut the cowl and it won't fit under your hood if you use a carb style tb
