I seen his work and its flawless.
IMO I would have just gotten repop panels cuz door panels are one of those things that you wont find in good shape that are original.‎
trust me I looked high and low lol.
Thanks Dawg! I'll either give them a call or stop in and talk to them.

These EBay ones are not too bad. They just need a little work to make them perfect.

For the COPO car I picked up real nice repops from TMI Products. I compared them to the original panels and the differences are very small. The COPO car is a clone car loaded with repop stuff anyway.

The Z will end up with very little repop.

NOS dash panel came in today. It looked good but had a little rust on it and is a little bent in one spot. 43 years old though so overall it is A-OK.

but the original GM box it was in had a very hard life. LOL.

I dropped it off at Labrecque Autocraft and Mike has the Z in primer.

and I verified that the old door panels that were on the car have the same part number as the ones I picked up on EBay "Seaman 7793352"

There was also a 69 Firebird there that Mike restored with a frame off restoration a while back and the guy wanted a few changes. Sweet. This guy should join the club!!!!

Z/28 subframe came back from being acid dipped

Mike removed the oil coating, sand blasted the weld seams, prepped and
used a black epoxy primer on it.

the restoration is moving along
