Lightbulb LS6 swap

Thinking about doing an LS6 swap into my 2001 z28 camaro

(already got a buyer for my LS1)

but just wanted everyone's take on what you think ?

should i go for it ?!

about $5,000 to 6,000 after all is said and done maybe

its not really a swap. id never pay that kind of money for a used motor. you can buy all the ls6 topend parts and rebuild your short block for way less. hell theres a pair of 243 heads on here with 1k miles for 600, thats a start.

Depending on your build date you may already have an ls6 bottom end from gm. Only difference is cam and heads. You even have an ls6 intake stock. Id invest in some heads and cam on top of your ls1. Would bne way less money and make a ton more power.

Stop looking at stock shit replacements you want a new motor get a forged shortblock for like 4g make more power and be strong as fuck.
