The only issue i have with it is the kid said it was an 01' motor. with 76k on it. That being said what else did he lie about.

Everything spins as it should and without pulling it apart (which I may do) to check the heads and walls for anything else out of place. I'd hate for it to get swapped out and die withing the year.

I feel horrible that trying to help my brother ends up getting more costly.. lol

as far as it running? Unless this kid just thought he had an 01' it was running a week ago.

OK. Cutting losses and running with what we got, don't care if it's a 98' it's going into a 98'.

Brother needs this thing on the road. Rolling the dice.......

For used motors we do not supply them unless I pull them after checking them. Too much to warrenty if it's not right.

Most motors are ok but this kid sold/pulled it saying it was a 01 motor. Is he really that stupid. If so he shouldn't build anything.

Throw in a new oil pump and or rod bolts and run it. Should be fine if it was running fine.

i wouldnt do the rod bolts without having the size checked, not worth gambling on spinning bearings. my rods closed up 8 thousanths, glad i had them checked and resized cause that would have sucked!
