If I do stall I'm gonna need tranny and rear end. I don't have 5k to spend on my car currently lol So unless I find a bitchen deal on a used one I'm not getting a stall for a bit.

How do think your going to need a tranny and rear if you get a stall. I got a stock tranny and stock 323 gears in my car and seems to rip pretty good for a bone stock lt1. My stall is a 2800-3000 not sure which it was in the car when i got it and I also have a tune done.

Well, 166k on the tranny and was rebuilt by some random shop by previous owner, figuring a stall isnt the best idea till i have the money to rebuild it if it pops. lol

Ill be going with a SS3600, and gears im gonna start with a replacement 10 bolt with 3.42 but if and when i do a 12 bolt it will get 373s

but i figure a cam will break less shit then DRs and a stall lol and again, i cant hook now, a stall would make it even worse untill i get real tires lol i dunno, im torn, i need to scratch a like 5k ticket haha

then start saving. really not building it faster from the back forward you are just going to break shit. and whether you add power up front of traction out back either way if you say your tranny is questionable then dont do anything till you can afford a low milage stocker from a junkyard and a stall to go in it. you are Not making great hp untill you seriously start modding the motor. so i say 3.42 rear, kyard tranny, and a stall to go in it with tune. and you will be just fine for quite some time. and a SHIT load faster then if you had just gotten a cam. Shit 4L60E trannys are going for 500 bux for the 95-97 LT's just gotta look.

Ill have to find a LOW miles tranny, and even then it will be a crap shoot as to how good the tranny really is. I'd prefer to take that 500 and put it towards mine getting built, the stall and gears arnt gonna do a shit ton for me once I'm at speed lol

plus I don't wanna change A4s like civics do engines lol

And with that stall and junk yard tranny and rear, I now need tires to use the stall and tranny cooler lol

As stated before, the cam would be far more feasible and would make me enjoy the car that much more. Its not like I'm saying I'm gonna do the cam and quit modding, nor have i even started collecting parts lol

Nor am I looking to stuff a .650 lift cam and expect to gain 100 hp.

Spend a grand on a cam and some other stuff and enjoy the car some more or save up like 6k for everything all in one whack. To bad I'm not an M6 I wouldn't be getting half as much shit lol

Just saying my camaro has 197k on it, she was beaten hard her whole life, and the stall was definitely fun, and I don't believe it put anymore damage to anything. I would not do a cam or any of that until u start building the supporting mods to handle it

Hell my car just turned 105xxx mi and I know it was hammered before cus I the proof still inside the wheel wells lolz. I tell ya though a stall will wake the car up a lot more than you think and don't do anymore damage to it than if you didn't because your hammering on it either way lol. Not trying to bust balls, I want to do a can in mine as well that's why i bought a block to start with a build.

Lets See Tonys Car runs a BONE STOCK Motor and ALL Other supporting mods and hes running low 12's i BARELY beat him at the 1000 foot mark. he treed me 60 footed me and Killed me threw the 1/8th and i made 100 more rwhp then him. and was only 200 pounds heavier. a Stall for an Auto is a must before all else. you can think a cam will make the car faster and feel better then a stall will but your dead wrong. you run faster lay down more rubber and have an Absolute BLAST driving the car. Vs. cam only. im gunna say this till im blue in the face! and i will keep saying till you just half ass it get a cam and the car isnt what you expected and for the same money invested you would have had a faster car. Ohh and Ill Say I Told You So!!!

I can totally see you hunched over typing this with that manic face on your head semi smiling but kinda pissed at the same time. Love it.
