better get the allison built first. dont get ANY tune that deosnt up the line pressures SAFELY!!!

he has the same tunner that was in his red truck. that trans had lke 50k more miles and did fine. he doesnt beat the shit out of it just beats it.

neither did Kosta and his tranny shit the bed. be careful. an allison rebuild is in the 4000 dollar range.

have no fear the ppe standard defuels hard between shifts lol.

pizza, with what your saying, either way i have to rebuild it so mine as well wait as long as possible! haha but I have looked into some rebuild kits/ torque converters when i had the red truck. the new one will get built eventually but is not highest on the list

is that what it does? i was kinda amature status when i put it in the red one...have learned a lot about diesels since. and it seems most people like the efi like you were saying, and ill probably go that route once i do more then exhaust and cold air

EFI is the way to go no matter what, your stock trans will actually last longer.

and yeah the defueling is wierd.

Yea and don't go build a 6000 ats trans either. Your not doing gigantic turbos and propane lol. If I hadnt listened to everyone else I'd still have my truck :-(. Instead I listened to everyone telling me to go build one and got freaked out by the price. Eventually a torque converter will help your cause along with a shift kit. A good tuner will like joe said help too.
