Mike asked me to drive the car around this weekend to see if there are any problems and to let the fenders and doors settle out before he puts the side stripes on. There are also a few small items left like wipers left to put on.

The car rides very smooth and strong, but there is something rubbing in the passenger side wheel well. I'll have to look closer at the problem tomorrow.

I went through a little over half a tank of gas today.

Alex and I picked it around 12 pm.


We went out for lunch at Barts in Windsor CT.


Then drove around Simsbury and Granby, and then went for ice cream at the Granval Scoop in Granville MA.




It ended up being a beautiful day to cruise around!

Feels terrific.

It's a much quieter and tighter ride than my 68. The 68 engine is louder which is surprising since it's a small block. Also in this car, I hear a lot less road noise which must be due to the dynamat.
