Well I got the 9" back in, what a heavy bastard.. then I found out the stock bolts dont fit my panhard bar

Also picked up LS1 injectors and rails from Nick Brehm, and a LS1 intake this weekend, non EGR, comes back to a 97-00 vette Making some progress!

Fuel system, trans, wiring, cleaning up a bunch of stuff. Putting the motor back together and all the accessories. Lots left to do, wish the weathers been better and work hasnt been killing me.

Well I had picked up a LS1 from a member here. Supposedly had rod knock. Finally got around to pulling the truck pan off it today and found this..





Well needless to say the entire engine is fucked and useless. Sunk all my money into the LS swap and now have no engine. Back to the drawing board.

Wait you say truck pan as in pan that had to be out on off his 5.3..... Impossible not to see the shrapnel and damage ?? If so that is dirty

Yeah i got the engine with a truck pan on it as he needed the fbody pan for his car.
