How do those Vikings compare to stock shocks as far as ride quality?

I went from KYB AGX's to these so don't have much feedback on direct stock to Viking but I must say I love the ride quality. Even with it as low as it is now it is great over bumps around town and feels more stable on the highway hitting bumps. These blow away the KYB's and the KYB's were better than stock so..

They also feel much better cornering and launching, weight transfer is nice. The only thing is I don't like the way they mount. The combined force of the shock and spring is all transmitted to the central steel bushing in the upper strut mounts in the front. I have been noticing a clunking noise on the drivers side that is driving me nuts, think I should replace the strut mounts. I would suggest to anyone doing these get new strut mounts because even if they look fine the extra load to the center is going to change it.

I went from factory front decarbons to the viking double adjustables with 300lb springs, huge difference in all aspects. even with them set for drag racing and no front sway bar it still handles better than it did before. It rides very nice as well.

I'm on stock springs and blistins up front with no sway bar and I do have some weight out up front but I've had half a dozen people in my car since I've removed it and not a one has had any clue till I've told them after.

Not sure how a full weight car would be with out sway and stock shock/springs.

I should also mention I am running no front sway bar as well, and I have the 350 lb springs.

I wouldn't expect a passenger to note a difference with a removed front sway bar, but I can sure feel the difference. I cant wait to throw my Hotchkis sway bar back in after a few shots up at the track and see how that feels.

I notice it as well, I just figured it would be more apparent then it is, who knew lol

You can feel it hitting a corner pretty good and it you hit a wheel on the highway one side it sways. It will be going back in soon..

Perhaps I just don't corner like I used to cause of the the DRs on the back full time lol grip for days till you push it a bit to far and slide city, part of why I took the sway out so I wasnt as tempted lol
