Looking for a new fbody
So im letting go of my v6, I was originally looking at jeeps, but decided I need an fbody. This time around I would love to get a v8.
I was looking at this car: http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/cto/1927043710.html Now, that price is so low for an SS! I called and the guy said it has 72k miles, clean title. The car had the transmission rebuilt because of a bad sun gear. Other then that he said it was fine. But from the sound of it, he doesn't baby the car. The interiors shot(bad rugs, torn seats), and he said he would take me on a "power ride" and I'd sh!t my self LOL. Now do you think its worth the risk? I mean for 6k it doesnt seem like I can go wrong, but if it was abused and at that price just seems risky. He just replaced all the 02 sensors, but it is throwing code for what i think he said was AIR. So inputs are welcome, im going friday to look at it, so none of you better go snatch it up on me!!! hahaha Just let me know what you guys think, or actually if anyones near there, maybe seen the car before?
