All his tunes are good he does most of the tuning on street anyways however figure out if u want fi in the future etc if not there are so many good 5.3 head choices for probably same price as getting your stock heqds to a good point.

He doesn't tune cars on the street just talked to him, Sooo gotta save up some $..

What are the prices on performance 5.3 heads ?

same heads I'm looking at tsp 5.3 heads cheap! like 1200$

I'm not a big fan of 5.3 heads, ther is a reason they are cheap, especially if you plan more power in the future. 2/3 of the gain you get over LS1 heads is the combustion chamber reduction, and LS6 heads are right there already. If you had LS1 heads I'd say it may be worth it. Their casting isn't as good as the 243/317 style head either. You are better off investing in the LS6 heads you have or go aftemarket.

I don't see any big gains with the ls6 heads to the 5.3's when n/a if going forced then absolutely but a stock motor with n.a the compression gain and power is almost the same withint 10 hp. and usualy around 500-700 dollars cheaper.

I just def need to tune it for now better heads and bigger cam prob next tax season lol
