I got a question? What happens to the ecm that controls the tranny? I didn't no you can do this.

Well since iam switching from a t56 there's nothing really that gets affected except the speedo. On a 4l60e you need to swap to a six speed tune.

I know its more woke to swap from auto the manual but never realized when you swap to an old school th tranny that's there really no big deal. By the sounds of it you got one hell of a deal, good luck with.

Yeah its really not that involved. Now that companys like bmr and such make the crossmember to keep the tq arm and converters for ls1/th350 setups it makes it more of a true bolt in app. Just need to fab up a mounting plate for the shifter and mount the cooler. Madman makes a dipstick for the f-body th350 swap. So its pretty much all covered.

Make sure the tranny has a speed sensor on it. If not add one on it. Makes tuning alot easier ussing a tranny speed sensor instead of a wheel sensor.

I'd say keep the 6 speed on the shelf for atleast a year before selling.

Thats because I would never put a T350 or 400 into a car I like driving on the street alot. 6 speed is alot more fun.
