It will pretty much come down to whether the 10 bolt will hold the lower 60' time needed. What tires are you on? And what RPM are you launching at?

If i got it down to a 74 i'd cut more than 2 tenths off i bet. I cut 2 tenths off when i went from a 1.95 to a 1.89 But it doesnt seem possible on these stock gears and rear

Oh trust me i know haha i have a spare rear sitting just in case to get me by till the 9", i'm running M/T drag radials 16". I am not dumping the clutch just letting it out hard. this is the video of the 12.3 dont have the 12.1 launch but pretty much the same.

i sed if everything else was equal. if you cut time off during your shifts as well then your et goes down. its all seat time. the stock 10 bolt can hold up if you launch it right. your gunn have to hit the tires a little harder to cut down on the 60 foot. i tryd hitting the clutch harder and ran 3 tenths slower then wen i dumped it. But dumping it at the rpm needed to cut a better 60 foot and your in the realm of a dead 10 bolt. and like he sed what tires are you on? my best times yet were wen i had just a LITTLE bit of spin out of the hole. meant i didnt bog. are you bogging at all?

My run I posed with thw youtube link I spun the tires a little not much though. Your right if you launch it correctly and not just dump it the rear may hold up longer. I'm going hardrler and harder till it snaps haha

your going to need a little tire spin to keep the rpms up with those gears.
