the kit I got will make it safer than the throttle rod linkage.
it makes it like any other oem car these days.
Ive used that linkage you shown above with similar results on other cars ive owned.

Jeez. I thought I was the only one that ever had a problem with them. There should be a warning on those things. "May cause immediate death."
