Makes me want to blow my brains out, cant stand noises like this!!

Kind of sounds like a pinion bearing but can't tell because your at one speed.

im going to pull it out and check it all. new bearings/races i set the pinion preload to 25 in/lbs with a solid spacer, we'll see. the pattern did not look good to me when i set them up no matter what i did. ended up setting the pinion depth to what was stamped on the gear. i sent pics to motive and they said looks good run it.

I never/ever go by pattern. Got screwed a few times doing that and they sound just like yours.

We just set depth and backlash. Works out pretty good.

Yeah its so much easier doing it by pinion depth, no guess work. I did it that way and checked the pattern because the guy at motive gear wanted to see it.
