Finally weighed the Clamaro

I've been wanting to weight my car since I bought it and finally did tonight while driving around with Joe. 3520 lb, basically full weight car with minor changes:

Removed spare tire and jack
Very light fiberglass ss hood (wish I weighed the difference >. <)
SS ten spokes
LS1 brakes
LS1 Al driveshaft



Full interior hardtop still equipped with AC cruise control and stuff.
Oh and it had about a quarter tank of gas. Thought this would be good for people to know about what these weigh. I would like to drop it into 3400 with minor weight reduction no crazy cutting fenders or hacking it up.

So with that and the times its running, it should be making about 275rwhp.

Mine was 3,450 on the scale at LVD with about a quarter tank of gas.

I don't know. Maybe rear seats but actually might just leave it alone and get skinnies.

That seems oddly light.

That scale might read low. A Formula should be the lightest V8 F Body though.

Formulas weigh less. I'm thinking about taking out my rear seats, gives me an excuse to have less people in my car. I may get rid of A/C too, mine doesn't work anyway. Aside from that and some lighter wheels, I want to be in the upper 3300# race weight.

klab is that with you in it? With a half tank of gas and nothing removed ( spare tire and jack still in) mine weights 3480. That's without me in it. My race weight was 3630 the other night.

If you have been wanting to weigh it why didn't you just do it at the track? lol
