Default Berlin Turnpike Cruise Ideas

This is the thread to hammer out when to do it and where on the pike to meet up. It's not an official meet thread so throw your .02 in.

The idea of Hooters has been brought up. The only problem is their lot is small and if you show up late you wont be parking together let alone at Hooters!!!

I say we get in contact with Gatorwash Carwash (right next door to Hoots) and see if we can reserving his parking along the back of the storage unit next to him (the brick back drop will double as a banner hanger).

Thoughts, complaints, excitement, date ideas? Post up!!!!

Hell tell him you'll give him vendor status on the board if we can do more than once with enough heads up!

BTPK is ok.. Good to watch some rice. The cops hang out there a LOT and there are mobile DUI units out there from what I've heard. And I almost got stabbed down there a number of years ago. But I haven't been there in a long time.

If you behave yourself the cops leave you alone. Just like any other time/place. I've never had a problem out there.

^ I do. I don't mind cops at all.. But like the cliche' says "it only takes one ass hole to fuk everything up" and that happened with the street racing and shit back when F&TF came out. The rice was STEAMIN on the pike. I'll go again once, but not expecting anything. I'd like to just go and chill and drink some coffee and B.S. w some cool people.

That's what I do. My car spends it time parked so people can see it and I can others. It's fun to point and laugh at all the rice with red & blue on their ass because they're IQs are smaller than their cylinder count.

I wouldn't try to get too into the planning and organizing because if you do all that and then it rains on the night you pick it was all for naught. I say we just pick a day and plan on heading down. We could meet at Hooters for dinner and then head down to Burger King (the center of the action). There is a large lot behind BK you can park in because their tiny lot is always full.

And don't worry about the cops, you just have to be on your best behavior. I almost never see muscle cars pulled over, it's usually rice or random people.

The next Saturday I have open is the 29th, which is Memorial day weekend, how would that be for people?
