Default cheap fix for oil pan leak with pics

1. locate the leak.
2. mix up 10 parts jb weld steel to 10 parts jb weld hardner
3. liberally smear it all over your oil pan. Dont worry about cleaning off any rust or scale, it will just add to the rigidity of the whole hodgepodge.
4. let the $hit harden overnight
5. Pat your redneck back in relish for the fine job you have done and all the money you saved.

Honestly can't tell if this is serious or not, the only possible time I could imagine considering fixing an oil pan is if it's an F Body and you want to repair it without removing it. But if it's already off the vehicle?

But hey this is an F-Body Forum!!

EDIT: You really could have at least nicely spread the JB Weld vs. Slobbering it all over like a wet sneeze.... That is all!

i usually drain the pan spary it with break clean and hit it with a wire brush and it is allot better than pulling the motor on a $1000 shit box LOL
