Pulled t56 out and weird clip fell out can u identify?

IMG_1062.jpgSo i pulled my t56 due to a rear main seal blowing oil on my clutch as i seperated the trans from bellhousing this clip was on the floor? im unsure of if it fell from inside the tranny or is just part of the car somewhere?
