yes to cover my ass, they asked for pics of the pattern which i gladly gave them, they said looks good run it. I had a feeling these gears were going to give me an issue thats why i originally contacted them.

Crazy part is I had the same thing happen to me with a set of motive gears for my 10 bolt about 5yrs ago. Had my buddies shop do the install. Sounded good for about a week and then it sounded like yours. They said that the solid pinion spacers are no good because they don't hold pre load and can back off. Not sure if its true or not.

a lot goes in to putting gears in the diff.
youll need to set the proper pinion depth and add shims etc.check and recheck with a dial indicator and depth mic.

...Yeah its so much easier doing it by pinion depth, no guess work. I did it that way and checked the pattern because the guy at motive gear wanted to see it.
